The Palatometer system is made up of three unique components that work together seamlessly to bring the powerful visual feedback to system users. It's new, fun and your clients will love the results!

1. The PalateView Software coordinates the SmartPalate and DataLink functions to produce real-time visual feedback on the computer screen for all users to see.
2. A microprocessor I/O device, called the DataLink, is worn by the user or placed on the desktop and connects the SmartPalate to the personal computer.
3. A custom-fit SmartPalate is worn inside the mouth by the client and/or clinician to sense all tongue-to-palate contacts and lip closure contacts.

The DataLink gives this system power.  Plug the DataLink into your computer, using the USB cord provided.  Connect the SmartPalate using the USB port on the top of the DataLink, open the PalateView software and voilà . . . your tongue-to-palate contact appears on the screen!

• Integrated Omni directional microphone for basic sound acquisition     from 20-16,000 Hz
• Integrated mini-stereo jack for external microphone, allowing higher fidelity sound acquisition if desired
• Onboard microcontroller processes data at 48 MHz

The SmartPalate is custom-made so the reading of your tongue-to-palate contact is extremely accurate.  After purchasing a Palatomter System or Custom SmartPalate, we find an Orthodontist/Dentist near you and send you a SmartPalate packet.  Take the packet to the dental office and get an impression of your upper palate.  You do not pay for the dental visit!  From the time we receive the stone model from the dental office, it takes 7-10 days for your very own SmartPalate to arrive at your door.
